Method description for risk analysis
Step 1. Risk inventory:

Products: Ecolean packages, LeanCover and LeanSheet
Process: The entire process flow
Health hazard/ Risk:
Following groups of health hazards has been observed:
• Microbiological Existence of pathogenetic micro-organisms (spore formations, salmonella and virus).

•Physical Existence of foreign objects

•Chemical Existence of chemicals

Step 2. Grade judgement of all risks after probability and seriousness by points:

Probability: Seriousness
(consequence)

3 Very often = Common > every day 3 Very serious = Highly life threatening

2 Relatively often = Occurring > 1 time/w 2 Relatively serious=Health hazard can occur

1 Very rare = Unlikely < 1 time/month 1 Less serious = Low (negligible)

Cause/Preventive action:
Cause: Describe what risk that can occur and what that can be the reason for the risk.
Preventive: The preventive actions refer to appearance of health hazards, and are the routines that usually is used to control and prevent this. Describe what preventive action that is made in present and what preventive actions that can eliminate or reduce the danger to a better level, eventually in a later step. Common preventive actions are work instructions in writing and also cleaning of equipment.
Step 3. Identification of critical points and Modifications:
Risks that got a total sum of 3 points or more in the total judgement shall be control points. The control points shall be putted together in a compilation and these points shall be documented.
Risks that get a total sum of 7 points in the total judgement shall be handled as a critical control point (CCP). These critical control points shall be putted together in a compilation.
