都是英语，entomology更专业一些，即昆虫学，昆虫学家用entomologist.
insect也是昆虫的意思，显得就有些普通化或者说科普化了。但是有些正是的场合也用insect。
英语有些还有虫子的意思，用的就更为广泛，变化就更多了，比如,bug,worm等等。
entomology 是研究昆虫这一科的名称
insect 只是指昆虫
entomology 昆虫学
insect 昆虫,卑鄙的人
都是英语
