International trading becomes one of the major trends in the business world. Many businesses try to develop business relationship and partnership with another business in a foreign country. However, there are many factors that might destroy the business relationship that has been developed, such as the language barrier and the culture difference.
The main factors that will affect the partnership between the businesses from two countries is the culture issue. Sometimes it is very nice to do something in a country will be considered rule for another culture. For example, there is fine to talk when a person is eating while this action is considered inpolite in the U.S. As the result, we have to learn about the culture before we try to develop a business relationship with a foreigh business. It is very important to understand their culture because it shows your respect to the business as well as their culture.
Another issue is that language problem. You have to understand the tranlastion of some words in a foreign country before you try to develop the partnership. For example, when you translate a word by the way how it pronounces, it might lead to misunderstanding because of the similar promounciation. So at least one person in your company needs to understand the others' language in order to show your respect.
International business becomes the major trend, so it is very important to understand the culture and the language of the other businesses that you are going to business with.
