广州民用设计院:till 和 until有什么不同?

till和until都可以
1. 用于引导时间状语从句：Go straight ahead till you see the entrance. 一直朝前，走到入口处。
He waited until the children were asleep. 他一直等到孩子们睡着。
I didn’t noticed it till (it was) too late. 等我注意到这件事时已为时太晚。
2. 用于构成时间状语：You’d better stay in bed till tomorrow. 你最好在床上一直躺到明天。
3. 用于构成强调句型：It was not until yesterday that I finished it. 直到昨天我才把这件事办完。
4. 用于肯定句，这时谓语动词应该是持续性动词。例如：
They travel until they come to a wild part of the forest. 他们在森林里一直走，碰到一块荒地就停下来。
5. 用于否定句，这时谓语动词应该是一时性动词。例如：
Last night we didn’t get home till 11 o’clock. 昨天晚上我们直到11点钟才到家。
till和 until 的区别
till多用于口语，until在口语及书面语都用，置于句首时常用until，例如：
Until our manager comes back, nothing can be done. 经理不回来，我们什么也做不了。

till前一般加可延续动词
UNTILL前一般加不可延续动词
TILL不如UNTILL正规
He didn't go home untill 8 o'clock.
She waited for him till mid-night.

untill就是till前加了un,
就像千里迢迢前加不变成不远万里
