介词in后边必须接宾语，为什么这句不加He was smiling when the door opened and his wife came in.为什么把came in 换成entered into不行？
因为come in 是英语中的固定搭配,而enter本身就有"进入''的意思,所以不能加"into''
介词in有多种用法。就你这个问题来看，你是把介词in“在...里面”和副词in“到里面、进入”混淆了。介词in是静态的，而副词in是动态的。动态的介词“到里面、进入”应该是into。介词后面跟宾语，而副词不跟宾语。
come in相当于come into the room/house等。而enter 是及物动词，相当于come/go into。(enter into 是“开始、参与、估计到等含义”)
所以说，把came in 换成entered into不行。
表时间或地点时,介词‘in’或其它介词后都不用接句子，例：‘Where are you from?’‘Where are you in?'……come on(等等）。
in加地点的时候后面必须接东西，其他情况下不接。
come in是词组，进来的意思。
把came in 换成entered into可以
come in 是固定词组，意思是进来。后面不需要加地点，如Come in，please！请进。
如果换成enter，不需要加into；如果非要加into，后面必须加地点
in 后面不一定非要接宾语.in 在come in 里不是介词.
不可以把came in换成 entered into.enter 是及物动词.可以换成entered the room.
