Donna Lewis (b. August 6, 1973, Cardiff) is a Welsh singer-songwriter best known for the 1996 song "I Love You Always Forever". The single was overly successful on US radio. The song never hit #1 on the Billboard Hot 100, but did spend a long 9 consecutive week run at #2. The song also spent 13 consecutive weeks at #1 on the airplay chart. It re-wrote the record books at radio by exceeding 1 million 'spins' to claim its place in music industry history as the most-played single ever, at that time. The popularity of the song shot Lewis's debut Now in a Minute to platinum status. She also performed "At the Beginning" with Richard Marx for the movie Anastasia. Her second LP Blue Planet won critical acclaim but, was largely overlooked by the public. Although it eventually garnered a #1 dance single "Love Him", Lewis parted ways with Atlantic and independently produced her third LP "Be Still", which featured Lewis on an almost entirely acoustic set. Lewis was also featured as a guest vocalist on several trance/house recordings. Her new LP "In The Pink" is due out in mid-2006.
