The old man would sit 译成 "老人（过去）会坐在宁静的公园里"--括号中的可不译
it is no use to change "woud"to"used to"
两者都可以表示过去常常
would表示过去这么做，现在有可能还是如此
used to do 表示过去常常这样，但现在不这样了
我觉得在这里两个都可以,would and used to 都有过去常常做某事的意思
是可以,但两个也有区别.
would表示过去常常做....
used to do 表示过去常常做..(但现在不做了)
