One of the most unforgettable New Years could be this Chinese New Year, year of the dog. This year I decided to have a little celebration in my school with the children ,which I have never had before. Two of my colleagues were very excited to join me.

As the New Year was on the weekend, we decided to have our dragon parade before the New Year. We invited an artist to school to show us how to make a paper dragon. On Friday, everybody dressed up. Some children played Chinese gongs. Some children held the dragon body. My colleague Nadine was the dragon head and I was the tail. It was not easy to have good body coordination when so many people walked at the same time. At the end, though a little bit tired, we all had a great day.
