也：用even表示转折且强调，即使不吃苹果也能达到同样的效果。

至于说“也可以”的“可以”想来你也是想表达“可以达到某一个同样的效果”吧？所以你大可以加上“achieve the same result”

用：It will be alright not eating the apple
It will be alright without eating the apple

it's also ok /without (eating) an apple/ for me not to eat an apple.
it doesn't matter if there' no apple to eat.
if there's no apple i can also do without it.

It doesn't matter if you wouldn't like to.
