上海宝山区工商银行:一篇英语阅读理解 有点难

It was strange to drive in a city without law and order. Litter and rubbish were everywhere. Cars drove on the sidewalks or on the wrong side of the roads. Banks, business and homes were still being burnt and robbed. Cars were hijacked.
Every now and again, we would hear the sound of gunfire of large explosions. People told us that it was too dangerous to deliver relief aid items. We would be attacked and our items would be robbed.
We used smaller vans to hide the relief aid items. There’s salt ,rice, oil, eggs, tea, soap, washing power, matches, milk powder, biscuits and sugar in our food parcels.
Families were living in very bad houses. I knocked on the door of one room. The father of three young girls answered the door. I gave him a bag of food. He just stood there looking at me with tears running down his cheek.
It was wonderful to hand out the drawing to Iraqi children, The kids were so happy to get these gifts!
