able是，有才能的，能干的意思。
be able to do sth就是有足够的能力去做某事。
can就是可以，能够（应付）的意思。
may （也许）能的意思。
从语气上来说，be able to 的信心大于can，can的信心大于may。

be able to、can同may的区别较明显，前者是可以，后者是可能。
