都是介词，可是所表达的意思不一样
例如
My pen is in the box.我的笔在盒子里。
I put my pen into the box.我把笔放在盒子里。
My pen is on the box.我的笔在盒子上。
My pen fell onto the ground.我的笔掉到地上

IN 上在什么里面的意思，INTO是进入什么里面，eg，I'm in the house.我在房子里，I go into the house.我走进房子里．
ON 是在什么上面，onto是放在什么上面，eg, the book is on the table. 书在桌上I put the book onto the table.我把书放在桌上

in是静态的，在……之中
into是动态的，到……之中
on 与 onto也是如此。

in 与 into

John works in a factory about ten kilometres from his home.(BII,P39)约翰在离他家10公里的一家工厂工作。

He gets into the lift and goes up to the twelfth floor.(BII,P39)他走进电梯，上第十二层楼。

[辨析] in意为"在......内",是表示静态的介词。into意为“进......里",是表示静态的复合介词。例如：\par She is walking in the room.她正在房间里踱来踱去。

She is walking into the room.她正走进房间。

在put,throw,break,lay,fall等动词之后，既可用 in也可用 into，这时 in也表示动态，常含有 into的意思。例如：

He put all the books in/into the bag.他把所有的书都放进到书包里。

in可用作副词， into则不能。例如：

Come in.进来。

in, into表示“进入……内”； on/onto表示“在(到)……上”

in表示“在……之内”，表示位置或处所，侧重状态; into“进入……里”，表示运动或变化，侧重动作。

He works in a hospital.他在一家医院工作。

He gets into the lift, and goes up to the twelfth floor. 他进入电梯上到12层楼。

on“在……上”，表示位置，侧重状态；onto“到……上”，表示位置的改变。

He lives on the fifteenth floor. 他住在15楼上。

They lift the baskets onto the truck. 他们把筐装到卡车上。

in是代表里面的意思,on是代表上面的意思,into是进入,这三个单词本来意思就不同,但他们都是介词,小心在句中使用错误就行了!

而 into是表示到某事的中间或内部:Came into the house.

on表示在何处或在……上:Your book is on the table.

而onto向某人到某事物上：The bottle fell onto the floor.
