Sam was a poor old man. He lived by himself in a village. He was too old and weak to work. He hand very little food to eat.
One day Sam went into the forest to cut trees. In the afternoon, he felt tired an hungry. He wanted to rest so he sat under a tree. He took a small potato out of his bag for lunch. Just then he saw a little girl looking at him. She was holding a bottle of water.
Joe said to the little girl. ’Are you hungry? Come and have my potato.’
‘Thank you .That’s very kind of you ,’said the little girl.’ You can have my water. ’They sat down and shared the food and water happily.
After the meal, the little girl left. Sam went on cutting trees. He felt his body becoming very strong. He finished his work and got home very early that day. When he looked in the mirror, he was surprised to see a strong young man.
