The celebration of the spring festival
Tomorrow is the New Year's Eve. And according to the traditional convention, we would cook steamed stuffed bun and steame-bread in north( I dare not say in China, because it is a too large conception). On New Year’s Eve, we adhibit the stick spring festival couplets and “福”on the door,also my parents are busy with cooking dinner. It’s the most important food in the whole year, maybe it’s not much more delicious than the food outside.But all of my family think it will be a family get-together.
At twelve o’clock on the Spring Festival night ,people eat dumplings，while some of them have coin ,bean curd ,candy,rice cake… and all of them will have especial meanings. For example, if somebody who eat dumplings with coin will make a pile in the new year. Of course, it just a desire～
The Spring Festival will not end until the fifth day of the first lunar month.People go on working.
It was my favorite festival when I was a child, because In those days, I could have a plenty of delicious food ,enjoy a very long holiday and wear beautiful clothes. And what is more , I could received much new year's money. So, every year, I expects the spring festival would come soon. After I grow up, it's no longer as important to me as it was before . For I can have delicious food and wear my favorite clothes every day.
Just before Spring Festival, my mother complains that she feels so tried on cleaning, washing, decorating and something eles. So the most disadvantage of spring festival for me is: we just sleep too little! From 8-9 o’clock in the morning till 2-3 o’clock in the midnight, we just keep greeting,wishing, visiting, receiving, calling and etc. There is no doubt spring festival offers us a very good opportunity to thank our relevant and friends and I am very glad to have a talk with them over a cup of tea but please be not crowded with too short period of time. It is time for wishing, thanking and resting. Do you know why I love spring festival best? When there was a little accident on traffic you could see people are so tolerant and two strangers even exchanges kindly wishes, but I do not want to see these excellent environment ruined by crowding, squeezing in shop or pushing and pulling on bus!
