什么是国土资源？
国土资源是指一国主权管辖范围内的全部自然资源，当前国土资源部行政管理的对象主要为土地资源、矿产资源、水资源、海洋资源。

矿产资源：有查明资源储量的矿产共有158种，其中能源矿产10种，金属矿产54种，非金属矿产91种，其他水气矿产3种。储量居世界第一位的有钨、锑、锌、钛、钒、稀土等。按45种主要矿产资源储量计算的潜在的价值约占世界矿产总潜在价值的1/8，其人均资源占有量约占世界人均水平的1/2。
水资源：我国水资源总量为28124亿立方米，约占全球水资源的1/16，其中河川径流27115亿立方米，名列世界第四位。人均水资源2350立方米，仅为世界水均水平的1/4，是全球人均水资源最贫乏的国家之一。
海洋资源：中国海洋面积是299.7万平方公里，约为陆地面积的三分之一。从单位陆地面积平均拥有的海岸线长度来看，中国只占世界第94位。至于人均海洋面积，世界沿海国家人均为0.026平方公里，而中国只有0.0029平方公里，只是世界平均数的十分之一。

2月2日 世界湿地日
