another,泛指的另外一个
other,接名词复数
the other,两个中的确定的另外一个
others,是名词，除小部分外的其它人或事的复数
ones也是名词，泛指其它的人或事的复数
another 另一个 adj
other 和 the other 和 others 都是 其他的
other 是没有范围的其他的 是形容词
比如 说
some students are reading, other students are sleeping.
是说一些人在读书另一些在睡觉。这里的另一些没有指定范围。
the other 是有范围的 比如
some of the class are reading. the other are sleeping.
这里的 the other 指的是班里除了读书的人的其他人。
另外 可以用 one...the other 这个...另一个
others 是代词 可以做主语 。也是没有范围的。
上面的例子用这个词就是
some are reading. others are sleeping.
ones 一般是复数用。
