Date of Birth: September 19, 1987

Born in Georgia, Danielle Panabaker began acting in community theater productions when she was 12 years old. In the summer of 2002, Danielle, now 14, convinced her mother to take her and her younger sister, Kay, also an actress, to Los Angeles for three months to try their hand at the big time.

Kay immediately landed several guest appearances on shows such as The Jamie Kennedy Experiment, Angel, ER and 7th Heaven, while Danielle did TV commercials before landing her first TV guest appearance on the short-lived remake Family Affair in the fall of that year. The girls’ success convinced their parents to move full time to Los Angeles.

In 2003, Danielle’s career really took off with appearances on The Bernie Mac Show, Malcolm in the Middle, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, The Guardian (for which she won a Young Artist Award) and a role in the TV movie Sex & the Single Mom.

She spent the fall of 2003 in Maine filming the HBO miniseries Empire Falls with Paul Newman, Joanne Woodward, Ed Harris, Helen Hunt, Phillip Seymour Hoffman and Robin Wright Penn. She then traveled to New Orleans to star in a Disney Channel movie entitled Stuck in the Suburbs (2004). For the TV movie Searching for David’s Heart (2004), Danielle won a second Young Artist award.

Danielle made her big screen debut in Walt Disney’s Sky High (2005), starring Kurt Russell and Kelly Preston, and followed that up with a role in the major motion picture Yours, Mine and Ours (2005), starring Dennis Quaid.

When not working, Danielle lives in Los Angeles with her parents and sister Kay (who stars in the WB’s hit TV series Summerland and on the Disney Channel’s Phil of the Future) and her Yorkshire terrier, Peanut. Her hobbies include shopping, reading, dancing, and spending time with her friends.
