随着科学技术的迅速发展学校成绩管理的自动化也越来越迫切，因此有必要开发成绩学籍的软件系统来辅助学校的教学管理。这样能极大方便成绩的管理，提高管理效率。
该系统是基于北京华工大学成教学院来设计的小型B/S结构的mis系统，它能够使任课教师在家里就能将考试成绩录入系统中，使学生在网络上就能查询到自己的考试成绩和在大学期间需要学习的课程,以及授课教师；还可以方便的管理和查询到学院的所有学生，所有教师的信息，等等。
本系统是一个小型的软件系统，用access＋asp实现，由于成教学院的学生人数不是很多，所以比较适合用小型的数据库access实现；为了便于网络查询和管理所以采用asp技术进行开发。按管理方式成绩管理系统可分为学生管理，成绩管理，教师管理，课程管理，其他管理，几个模块，在以下各章节中分别介绍。
