Webcamsat Product Features

Most Web developers can create Web pages to display camera feeds, but their presentation and control will be greatly enhanced by Webcamsat's capabilities. The Webcamsat Server is a collection of server-side modules enabling Web developers to manage and deliver multiple live or archived Webcam feeds. Three types will be available for a wide range of users -- basic, mid-level and top-of-the-line.
The basic "Community" package features support for live streaming video and audio from Webcams, including cameras with dynamic IP Internet addresses and dial-up service. Other features include category management and Webcam search tools, automatic "skin" Web page generation for presentation of Webcam images, and administration tools for managing viewer access to specific cameras.
The mid-level "Power" package includes the additional features of stream reflection, stream archiving and "firewall push," enabling multiple simultaneous viewers to access a Webcam even if located behind a security firewall. Additional administration tools are provided to monitor bandwidth usage and manage the reflection and archive functions.
The top-line "Pro" package includes "cascading reflection," enabling multiple servers to deliver an unlimited number of simultaneous video and audio streams.
