一个小孩说：“我认为太阳刚出来时距离人近，而正午时距离人远。”另一个小孩却认为太阳刚出来时离人远，而正午时离人近。
A kid say:" Is near apart from the person when I think that the sun just comes out, but the hour of noon be apart from the person far." Another kid but think that the sun just comes out leave the person far, but noon the hour leaves the person near.
前一个小孩说：“太阳刚出来时大得像车上的篷盖，等到正午时就像盘子碗口那样小， 这不正是远的显得小而近的显得大吗?”

Child A explained " At sunrise,it looks like as big as the round top of a van,but at midday it looks as small as a plate, it just proves that the nearer objects appear big,while the farther ones look small ,right ?"But Child B argued "it's cooler when the sun just raises,but becomes as hot as you feel your finger in hot water.doesn't it just prove that the nearer things make us feel hotter,while the farther things make us feel colder?" After hearing their argument , Confucius can't make up his judgement.and the two children mocked "who says you have more wits than others?"
