是不是语法有错？若不是，为什么这样呢？

no是形容词，作定语。在这个用法种，no 所修饰的名词前不能用任何限定词。例如:no student/no students(没有学生),不可说no a student/no many students。但not any = no, 因此可以说not a student/not any students等。

no作形容词时，有三个意思
（1）Not any; not one; not a:
毫无：没有任何；没有一个；没有：

No cookies are left.
一块饼干也没剩下

（2）Not at all; not close to being:
不是：根本不是；远远不是：

He is no child.
他绝不是个孩子

（3）Hardly any:
几乎没有：

语法没有错. 加“s”的情况是: There (are) no (students) in the classroom. 或 No (students) (are) wating outside. 但是 There (is) no (student) on the computer. “s” 就不必要了.
