In the past, I do（did) not give gifts to my friends on their birthdays.I thought it unnecessarily(unnecessary). I thought that if I gave a friend a gift on (加his) birthday,he would also give it(one） to me on mine;actually we didn't give each other's （other)gifts.And I also thought it was a waste of time and money.Now I do not think this(so).I think we need to do that.At home,we (are) under our parents' care,but outside we have to depend on our friend(friends).
