这个要看leave和前面词exit的关系，leave的地方不是exit，而是hotel，而exit是人们leave hotel需要“依靠”和“使用”的，所以用介词by。

试比较：
This is the hotel where I lived on Monday.
这是我星期一住的宾馆。

This is the knife by which I peel apples.
这是我削苹果用的小刀。

如果你用where的话。。范围比较大。。但如果你用by which 的话。。你只是单单指前面的exits.

应该用by which
