2:the only sound we could hear was of our own footsteps.这里为什么加of 啊？我觉得不应该加，是因为sound吗？不加我觉得挺说得通得.
3:I had to let go of his hand for a moment.这句话中的of我也不搞不懂，为什么要加它，但是去掉又连接不了his hand...
4：I got a hold of the matches.句子里a hold of 是固定的吗？
5:taking hold of her wrist.还是这个hold of...不懂什么意思，和上面一句一样吗？

第一个挺统一得，2，4，5回答都不一样，高手来啊！！！还有就是，要是get/take hold of 是固定搭配，那为什么4里面有个a ,怎么是got a hold of呢？
1.that, this在口语中往往相当于so，表程度。eg. to tell the truth i don't like Marina that/this much.
2.全句的主语是sound,而foot step自然不是一种声音。of其实是一种省略，还原还应该是……was the sound of……单复数一致的说法有一定道理，但不是关键。关键在主宾一致。
3.固定词组let go of=release释放，是及物的。
4.如果是get hold of就是固定词组，抓住，握住。如果是a hold of就是手抓的一把，一握
5.同上题，take a hold of 是握住，扼住，抓住。全句是扼住她的腕的意思。
