如果要选a,需要两句话中间有连词，比如像这样：
all the tasks had been fulfilled ahead of time, and they decided to go on holiday for a week.
但是这样更强调两个句子中间的因果关系，所以用非谓语动词的结构：因为任务都提前完成了，所以他们决定放一周的假。这里的因果关系又没有because,thus,since那种那么强烈，所以用来形容比较准确合适拉~~~~
一个句子只能有一个谓语
所以独立主格的那部分就得用ing
这叫非谓语动词，学过吧
